Factors affecting the endings: 

• Theo’s Route: Whether you are open to romancing Theo. 
• Theo’s Affection: Whether Theo likes you. 
• Oscar’s Route: Whether you are open to romancing Oscar. 
• Oscar’s Affection: Whether Oscar likes you. 
• Detection: Whether you solve the mystery. 

How to achieve the endings using these factors: 

• Ending 1 - Detective Duo (Theo's Good Ending): Solve the mystery. Be on Theo’s route. Gain at least 3 points for Theo’s affection. 
• Ending 2 - Gala of Generosity (Oscar's Good Ending): Solve the mystery. Be on Oscar’s route. 
• Ending 3 - A Good Day’s Work (Good Ending, No Route): Solve the mystery. Avoid both Theo’s and Oscar’s routes. (Specifically, don’t say there’s hope with Theo, and don’t lock down the date with Oscar.) 
• Ending 4 - Mysteries Aplenty (Oscar's Bad Ending): Don’t solve the mystery. Be on Oscar’s route. 
• Ending 5 - Bottle Blues (Bad Ending, No Route): Don’t solve the mystery. Avoid Oscar’s route. 

Choice to be on Theo’s route: 

• Yes. (Question: Is there hope with Theo?) 

Choices to gain points for Theo’s affection: 

• Why he's here. (Question: What should I ask him?) 
• Underwear unwashed since the beginning of time. (Question: Guess what's in the box.) 
• Resist. (Question: Should I say what the drawer contains?) 
• Comfort him. (Question: What's my next move?) 

Choices to be on Oscar’s route: 

• No. (Question: Is there hope with Theo?) 
• Gain at least 2 points for Oscar’s affection. 
• Mr. Henkle. (Question: Whom should I interview?) 
• Show Oscar the invitation AFTER showing him the makeup. 
• Confirm the date. (Question: Should I lock it down?) 

Choices to gain points for Oscar’s affection: 

• Yes. (Question: Should I be hyperbolic?) 
• Be coy. (Question: How do I want to play this?) 
• "Worse than I'd ever imagined." (Question: Oscar: "How'd that visit go?") 

Choices to solve the mystery: 

Discover the following clues using the instructions below: 

• Changeling: During the investigation, using the magnifying glass, focus on the victim’s hand on one of the crime scene photographs. 
• Sigil: During the investigation, use the blacklight on one of the crime scene photographs. 
• Hereditary: Discover the sigil clue. Interview Oscar. During the interview, show him the family photographs of the first and second victims, then show him the coin. During the investigation, use the blacklight on at least one of the family photographs. 
• Hair: During the investigation, use the blacklight on the third victim’s hair sample. 
• Report: During the investigation, use the magnifying glass on the laboratory report. 
• Fae: Discover all the previous clues. During the investigation, read all six topics covered by the fae encyclopedia then use the blacklight on the coin. At this point, the coin will transform into fae. Use the blacklight on the fae. Use the magnifying glass to focus on the fae’s body and wings. 

Give the following answers during Theo’s interrogation: 

• Warriors. 
• Spite for the scribes. 
• Final victim.
